Historie
Amrut Distilleries Limited je součástí Jagdale Group s excelentní tradicí. Společnost byla založena v roce 1948 s cílem razit nové cesty v oblasti kvalitních lihovin. Mezi další aktivity skupiny patří farmaceutika, základní léky, přesné nástroje, ovoce, květinářství, software a výživné produkty.
Společnost je předním dodavatelem tmavého rumu, brandy a whisky pro indické znalce lihovin včetně náročných ozbrojených sil.
Amrut Distilleries Ltd. dodává od roku 1964 své výrobky do Canteen Stores Department ministerstva obrany a její výrobky jsou v kantýnách dobře přijímány. Má vynikající pověst ve všech téměř 3000 kantýnách po celé zemi.
Od roku 1984 Amrut Distilleries Ltd. dodává své výrobky i do Kerala State Beverages Corp. a má velký podíl na trhu v Kerala. Amrut má také velkou základnu zákazníků v dalších státech, třeba v Pondicherry, Maháráštra, Andhra Pradesh a v Dillí. Výrobky společnosti exportují do zemí Perského zálivu a Západní Afriky.
