History

Solomon Tournour Co. was founded by distiller Chris Solomon and his cousin, Gil Tournour in 1998. Their first product, the Rene Pear Brandy was distilled in 2000. Today, the company offers three distillations under the Rene label: Alambic Pear Brandy, Alambic Rum and Pear Liqueur. Located in Calpella, Ca., Solomon Tournour is surrounded by Mendocino County vineyards, first planted 90 years ago by Augustine Solomon.
