History
Consorcio Licorero Nacional SA was established in 2009 in the free trade zone of San José, Panama. It was a subsidiary of Panama company, Grupo Alcoholes del Istmo, and it managed the ageing and blending of the rum it produced at its distillery in Las Cabras. Today it and the distillery is part SER Alcoholes, one of the rum holdings of Nicaraguan multinational, Grupo Pellas.
The company mostly produced rum for bulk sales or private third-party labels and its inventory was managed by Francisco Jose Fernandez Perez (better known as Don Pancho).
