History
The Black Death brand originated in Iceland in 1906, when the Sigurdsson family produced a clear, potent spirit which Icelanders called 'Svarta Daudi' or 'Black Death'. Since the the packaging was re-designed in 1992 Black Death's unconventional appeal has captured the attention of the media and consumers alike, and this has undoubtedly resulted in the brands phenomenal success. Today the Black Death range in marketed in over 70 countries world wide with annual sales of over 120 million bottles and cans.
