History
The marriage between Petrus De Kuyper and Anna Custers in 1695 formed the official beginning of the De Kuyper family business. Petrus de Kuyper was associated with the industry via making wooden casks for transporting Dutch gin and beer. The current managing director - Drs Bob de Kuyper - originates directly from the earlier mentioned couple.
In 1995 year on the occasion of its 300th anniversary, the company received the title 'Royal'. This permanently changed the name of the company from Joh’s de Kuyper & Zoon BV to De Kuyper Royal Distillers.
After more than 300 years, De Kuyper Royal Distillers is still a family business.
