Company was established in 2010.

Patt and his father, Peter, currently manufacture two spirits under the brand name "Gold Miner," to reflect the area's historic mining background. Their current offerings include 80-proof rum and vodka, which are both manufactured from a molasses base and run through the Patts' 1,000-liter still.

"We started producing in January [2010], but we just opened to the public two weeks ago," Patt said. "We'd like to make 5,000 cases a year, and we're working the tourists, the local market and the state market."
