History
As Sarasota’s first and only distillery, our spirits are hand-crafted from start to finish in small batches using only the finest ingredients, artisanal fermentation and a unique distillation method in copper pot stills. The “small-batch” distinction means, unlike mass-produced brands, that our spirits are distilled in a hands-on, step-by-step process that harkens back to a time-honored tradition.
At our family run distillery, we have spent countless hours experimenting with our process and tweaking our recipes to bring you the highest quality, smooth and a flavorful spirit.

Troy Roberts founded Drum Circle Distilling in early 2007. A few years later he was ready for some help. In 2010 he split a piece of the company between two old friends, Tom Clarke and Ryan Adams. Today, Tom helps Troy run the distillery while Ryan pretty much just has samples sent to him.
