History
The name harbottle dates back to the late 1800s, when the first liquor licence in New South Wales was issued in the name of Harbottle Brown. Davids Holdings (now Metcash Trading) purchased Harbottle Brown in the 1960s, when it commenced its first venture into the liquor industry in Australia.
