Nedwied Wilhelm & Sohn, Kaufleute und Liqueur-Fabrikanten, Schau, Böhmen. Liqueure Und Jamaica-Rum. Ehrenvolle Erwähnung Paris 1867. Gegründet 1779. Das Etablissement verarbeitet mit 30 Arbeitern jährich 3000 Eimer Spiritus.

News report in Národní listy, 28.12.1895:
U soudu obchodního v Praze: "Wilhelm Nedwied & Sohn", "Vilém Nedvěd a syn" ve Slaném. Veřejnými společniky jsou od 25. záři t.r. Karel Kafka a Vincenc Kratochvil, oba ve Slaném, podepisující firmu každý samostatně. Zároveň bylo dřívější jen německé znění firmy vymazáno.

English: At the Commercial Court in Prague: "Wilhelm Nedwied & Sohn", "Vilém Nedvěd a syn" in Slaný. Since September 25th of this year, the general partners are Karel Kafka and Vincenc Kratochvil, both in Slaný, each signing the company separately. At the same time, the previous German-only version of the company was deleted.
