History
At the beginning of the 21st century, Neil Mathieson from Spirimonde Ltd began buying rum barrels in the Caribbean for further aging in England. In 2012, the distribution company Eaux de Vie comes on the scene. Neil Mathieson is the CEO of both companies. Through a series of consolidations, Eaux de Vie became part of Marussia Beverages UK Ltd., a subsidiary of the Dutch company Marussia Beverages BV. Spirimonde Ltd is bottler of Mezan.
