In 1960 the Wray & Nephew Group Ltd had consolidated Daniel Finzi & Co (1843), which Wray had acquired in 1938; J Wray & Nephew Ltd (1825), acquired from the Lindo family by the Henriques interests in 1957 (the 'Appleton' rum brands and 'Rumona' rum liqueur introduced in 1968); Captain Morgan Rum Distillers Ltd, formed by Seagram in 1945 (and liquidated in 1970); Edwin Charley (Jamaica) Ltd, registered by Seagram in 1954 ('Charley's White Label'); and TTL Rum Bottlers Ltd (1956).
