Historie
The Little Distiller patří společnosti Ultimate Whiskey Company, která historicky vyrůstá z firmy J.H. van Wees Junior (1921). Společnost původně obchodovala s tabákem. O několik desetiletí později majitelé podnik přeorganizovali na úspěšnou velkoobchodní společnost s lihovinami. V roce 1994 uvedli Han a Maurice van Weesové sérii The Ultimate, která do současnosti vydala více než tisíc single maltů. Od samého začátku se výrobce řídil myšlenkou poskytovat vysoce kvalitní produkt za dostupnou cenu.
The Little Distiller míchá a vydává rum od roku 2016. Sortiment je rozdělen na výběr jednosudových rumů a na vysoce kvalitní mísené rumy.
