Historie
Cruzan Rum Distillery založili v roce 1760.
Cruzan Rum Distillery je postaven na ruinách cukrovaru Estate Diamond, Frederiksted, St Croix.
Od 30. let až do července 1944 se společnost St. Croix Sugar Cane Industries skládala z The Diamond Rum Company a Santa Cruz Distillers. Jeho hlavním cílem bylo dovážet vlastní rum do Spojených států. Investoři Diamond Rum Company byli titíž, jako investoři St. Croix Sugar Cane Industries. Někteří z nich byli také investory Santa Cruz Distillers.
Cruzan se stal v roce 2008 součástí Beam Global.
